Darkness Within

Was listening to the Machine Head tune from which I got the title, in the car. This is something Shaffer and I had in mind for that story we're sort of joint-writing.

More or less, Skylore and Minsha are infiltrating some high-society ball for assorted information, incriminating evidence, all that good stuff. They decidedly aren't a couple, but each at this point is starting to admit being attracted to one another, so having a cover story of being newlyweds isn't hard for them to pass off. Of course, appearances need to be kept up in and out of the multi-day party, as all the hotel rooms are bugged.

So, Minsha's in the shower, and Skylore figures, "hey, couples share showers and all, doubt she'd mind TOO much, long as nothing happens-wait, those red marks on her hips, ankles, wrists, shoulder, and ne-....oh....OHHH....."

Skylore learns:
1.) Why Minsha never lets people see her fur wet, uncovered.
2.) What makes Minsha so..."Minsha"
and 3.) Even the big, scary Amazon not only has body issues, but chapters of life she doesn't want to talk about.
